A barber's commitmentIn this video, you will meet Theo Small of Supreme Clientele Barber Shop. Throughout the video, he will give you a quick insight into the atmosphere of his place of business, as well as an inside perspective on what it is about barbering that drives him.
This video was filmed in conjunction with a separate product ad video commissioned by Browze. In exchange for Theo allowing us (on behalf of Browze) to film at his shop, we provided him with this video for his own business promotions. Upon distributing it via Instagram, this video quickly became one of Supreme Clientele's most-viewed posts. |
To play with fireHere we have a unique artist who makes portraits with fire, and his name is Chris Burns (I'm not even kidding). Chris will share with you, the viewer, his process when it comes to the ancient art of pyrography.
This video was a pilot for a concept I conceived while working at Diply, for their arts and crafts vertical called Crafty. This series, titled Crafty Sessions, would focus on individuals who practice unconventional art forms. At the time, this video was intended to serve as one of Diply's initial entries into Facebook's new Watch platform. |

Outdoorsman adventuresAnthony Dickson is a skilled hunter who wants to share his many outdoor adventures with the world. The television program Line of Sight is his way of doing just that.
This is the demo video I edited (and partially shot) for Anthony so he could pitch the show to potential sponsors and investors. At the time of this writing, Line of Sight has now produced two full seasons and was dubbed "Show of the Month" (December 2021) by its distributing network, Wild TV. |
What is cold laser therapy?Have you ever heard of "cold laser therapy"? Did you know that different colors of light have different medical effects on the skin? Take a look at this unique procedure at The Freeze Clinic to learn all about it.
On The Glow is a segment series I helped produce while working for Diply, for use under their beauty and cosmetics vertical called Flawless. I was responsible for directing, capturing, and editing four On The Glow videos, including this one. |

Let's put bird poo on my face......said no one. Actually... geishas in ancient Japan did! That's right, geishas attributed their beautiful complexions to a unique facial treatment made from warbler excrement. Maybe a different choice of words would make that sound less gross... but probably not.
This is another On The Glow segment that I helped produce, which was shot on the same day as the previous video. Once again, I was the director, one of two camera operators, and the editor. |
Always think before you inkIn this video, you will see a tiny version of an excruciating process that someone might choose to undergo if they didn't think before they inked. Luckily for our host, she only had a miniature tattoo of regret... but it was on her finger, which is a pretty sensitive spot for this to happen.
The production of this shoot was extremely quick due to the sheer busyness of this tattoo parlor. The conditions for shooting at this location were based on our small crew size (two cameramen and one host) and the requirement to be in and out within an hour. |

A surprise haircut, yay or nay?Not many people would want to roll the dice on their hairstyle without keeping at least one eye on it. But our host trusts her hairstylist with her life, so tune in to see how it turns out! (Spoiler: you already know what it looks like if you've watched every video on this page up until now.)
This was the first On The Glow video I helped produce for Flawless. There were a number of hurdles with this shoot, ranging from it being my first introduction to this production crew to a wild snowstorm that almost made transport impossible, and many challenges in between. But we all worked hard and persevered to make this show happen! |
Education dreams
For International Education Week, ApplyBoard commissioned a video where we asked international students at Wilfrid Laurier University, "What do you dream of achieving with your education?" This highlighted the big ambitions and wholesome intentions of the international community for their futures.
This was another quick turnaround project—shot in a day and edited within that same week. We faced challenges, including only two scheduled students showing up, filming in a glorified I.T. closet, and a tight 4-hour shooting window for what was meant to be a "high-tier production." But my team and I took it in stride and produced an amazing video. |

A letter to my younger self"We need an emotional, heartfelt video," was what we were suddenly told to produce for ApplyBoard's keynote event, Top Recruiter's Workshop 2024. As always, we replied, "No problem." Our manager came up with a concept, our producer found on-screen talent, and I was solely responsible for the visual look and style of the production, as well as the entirety of post-production.
This video played for many of ApplyBoard's partners at the keynote event and was met with great applause and praise by many, including Bollywood actors Sonu Sood and Vishal Malhotra. |
A partner product testimonialAt ApplyBoard, I produced and edited numerous testimonials highlighting the company, our products, and our work culture. This is an example of a partner testimonial about the ApplyBoard platform, created using repurposed footage from a video I shot and edited for our customer experience team. With this single production, we were able to generate two videos that served distinct purposes.
